Known by Fashionistas around the world, the Fusion Bar inside the Hotel Gallery Art has possibly the best offering in terms of ambience, decor, staff and antipasti.Sit at the bar and enjoy a Mojito (even the non-alcoholic ones are delicious, if you have pressing work to do) mixed by any one of the stunning men and women barristas. These are not just pretty faces either. Need to know what club to go to . . . just ask and they probably know the DJ to ensure you get in without waiting.
The snacks, if you can call them that, range from sushi to salmon roe to rice crackers to smokey dips. . . a global tour of finger food. For the models in the crowd there is, of course, crudites.
Don't neglect to look around the hotel and when you need a quiet moment to read or for a meeting, I highly recommend the library. Modernist design with rich wood bookshelves. All this just 20 yards from the Ponte Vecchio in a small piazza away from the maddening crowd.
