With the historic US election being followed more closely around the globe than any event including the summer olympics in China, it is not surprising that it is little surprise that the Toscana American Association is holding a rally to watch the vote count live.
With direct satellite feeds on a massive stadium screen, the Saschall theater (typically home to rock concerts and theater) is already filling with expats and students casting their virtual vote. Thousands are expected to fill the hall by midnight as the first polls in America close and the counting begins.
Live two way feeds will tell the world who Florence has chosen and show the reactions as we find out who Americans trust for the next four years. Photos of the event will be posted tomorrow.
